Happy Friday

TGIF everyone!  I hope you all have had a great week :)  I am happy it is Friday because that means I get to photograph a special wedding tomorrow!!  I am SO SO SO excited for Shannon and Tommy's wedding!  You two are adorable, and I can't be any happier for you both than I am right now.  Enjoy today, and remember that tomorrow is all about you two!  Remember to sit back, look around, and have fun!

Bay Area Wedding Photographer - Lori + Joe {Alameda : Merlot Commodore Yacht}

An intimate gathering of close friends and family boarded the Merlot Commodore Yacht to witness Lori and Joe become husband and wife.  The weather was perfect, the details matched their style, and there was excitement in the air.  Lori and Joe, I couldn't be more happy for the both of  you...and your family!  There were many times throughout the day that I just stood back and smiled (and wiped a tear).  I witnessed two hearts coming together as one.  Two souls meant to be together.  Two people in love.  The way you both looked at each other was just magical.  Ryeleigh is such a lucky little girl to have you both as parents! 

Thank you for having me there to document such a wonderful day...and especially sailing around the bay...amazing!  Now I can say I have sailed underneath the Golden Gate Bridge :)

Congratulations...and I wish you much love and happiness!  Enjoy your travels, and your new life as husband and wife!!

San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Photographer {Holly + Mark} Married

"How is Holly doing?” is one of the first things that Mark asked me when I saw him...and right there I knew that this was going to be such a special day! Mark and Holly met through mutual friends while living in Hawaii, and little did they know that fast forward to 2011, they would be walking down the aisle and becoming husband and wife. Guest and family members came from near and far to witness these two come together as one! After all the speeches, Holly stood up and spoke a few words. She said that she didn’t think she would be able to say anything without crying, then she looked at her husband with a trembling voice and said “Home is not an address…home is being with you".  There wasn’t a dry eye in the room; including mine.

Holly and Mark…your wedding day was magical.  Thank you for having me there to document such a important part of your lives.  I have no doubt that you will spend the rest of your lives just as happy as you were on your wedding day; if not happier!
