500 Days of Summer.

If you don't already know, one of my all time favorite movies is 500 Days of Summer.  It tops the cake with 'The Notebook' (I heart you Noah!) and 'Beaches'.  Yes Beaches...I still cry everytime I watch it.  But back to 500 Days of Summer, there is just something about this movie that I love. Maybe it's the love story...or as it says in the beginning of the movie...it's not your typical love story...you will just have to watch the movie to find out what he means by that ;)

In keeping the 'dream' theme going on (see yesterday's post)...here is a scene from the movie that I love...

Encourage...and a BIRTHDAY shout out :)

Summertime...Just Because

It's been such a wonderful and busy summer!  I am blessed to have had the opportunity to be an assistant photographer with two wonderfully talented (and extremely nice) photographers, Gladys Jem of Gladys Jem Photography and Heather Kincaid of Heather Kincaid Photography!  I have to thank you both for having me there alongside, and for not only the opportunity to document such wonderful weddings...but also to just hang out with you both ;)  You ladies are awesome!! 

There will be another post soon with more of my experiences with 2nd shooting, but until then...here is an image that I photographed from one of Gladys Jem's weddings!!

Wedding Wednesday {Little Bit of Inspiration} We Heart It

"We Heart It" is a website that I have fallen in love with...you can 'heart' images from that website and images that you see on other websites.  It's very similar to Pinterest.  If you haven't checked out either one of these sites, don't...just kidding lol...they can become very addicting lol!!

My favorite time of year...

I know I've been a little behind on my blog posts lately...It's been a busy few months with photo shoots, and planning my wedding :)  Yep, I can't believe it's almost here!!  Today we went and got our marriage license!!  I'm so excited for our big day, and I just know that 2011 is going to be filled with lots of love and happiness!!

Because posts are alway better with a picture, here is one that I took today while driving through Sonoma (and no, I didn't take it while driving...I was the passenger :)

Sweet Moments...

Around this time of year, I'm busy.busy.busy with holiday sessions!  Most of the time, the families that I photograph for the mini holiday packages are using these pictures for their Christmas and holiday cards, so I won't typically post their session until after the holidays (unless they say I can :)  During one of my sessions, I caught this special, candid moment.  I've been photographing Sharon, Robin and family year after year (thank you guys :) and I couldn't help but smile as I caught this moment :)

Sweet moments like this, make me realize how much I love what I do!
